A Fresh Angle on Paranormal Content
Rather than following a typical ghost-hunting protagonist, the series puts the spotlight on the people behind the camera — the creators who produce paranormal video content for online streaming channels — giving it a distinctive hook within the horror genre.
Story
The protagonist, Tokio Murasame, is a young man whose life has gone nowhere: his studies, job prospects, and love life have all fallen flat. Everything changes when someone recognises his extraordinary latent talent — an almost supernatural “occult sense” — and recruits him to help film videos for a paranormal streaming channel called Ushimitsu ga Toki.
On his very first assignment, Tokio infiltrates an abandoned hospital alone, camera in hand. Deep inside the building, he stumbles upon a mysterious basement room — and what he finds there sets the horror in motion.
