The Animedia editorial team has announced that the August issue of Animedia will go on sale on July 10, available at bookstores nationwide and select online retailers. The issue is packed with coverage of the newly launched summer anime season as well as a retrospective on the spring season.
Main Cover: Paradox Live
The August issue’s main cover features Paradox Live, showcasing a newly drawn illustration of Suzakuno Allen that also comes as a B3 poster. A special photo card using previously published illustrations is included as a cut-out collectible.
The feature includes a conversation between voice actor Kajiwara Taketo (Suzakuno Allen) and MICRO, lyricist for BAE’s songs. Individual interviews are also conducted with the voice actors for each team’s leader: Takeuchi Ryota, Kobayashi Yusuke, Kondo Takayuki, Ono Kensho, Nakajima Yoshiki, Inoue Marina, Amazuki, and Furukawa Makoto. Staff interviews include a Q&A on illustration with art director Puranari Ko and a conversation between producer Noguchi Saki and creative director Hamada Maria. The feature celebrates the launch of Paradox Live 4th SEASON.
Double Cover: BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita
The double cover goes to BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita, featuring a newly drawn illustration of Nakamachi Arare, vocalist of “myutaip,” captured mid-jump in an energetic pose — also included as a B3 poster. All five members of “Yumekou Dai Myutaip” are interviewed: Nakamachi Arare, Miyanaga Nonoka, Minetsuki Ritsu, Fuji Miyako, and Sengoku Yuno, sharing their impressions of the anime’s characters and memorable scenes.
