To celebrate the release of the Yuri!!! on ICE 10th Anniversary SPECIAL Blu-ray & CD BOX (Limited Edition) on December 23, a teaser video drawn from the set’s bonus content has been released online.
Lambiel Takes to the Ice as Katsuki Yuri
The bonus feature in question is a special collaboration video in which world-renowned figure skater Stéphane Lambiel — who previously guest-starred as himself in the TV anime — performs the free skating program of protagonist Katsuki Yuri in full. The teaser offers a glimpse of Lambiel’s breathtaking skating set to the series’ iconic piece “Yuri on ICE.”
10th Anniversary Comment Videos from Top Skaters
Alongside the teaser, congratulatory video messages marking the anime’s 10th broadcast anniversary have been released from several prominent figure skaters:
- Stéphane Lambiel — former world champion and anime guest star
- Kaori Sakamoto — two-time consecutive competition medalist
- Nobunari Oda — another skater who previously guest-starred as himself in the series
Further comment videos from leading Japanese figure skaters will be released on consecutive days, including Yuna Aoki, Shun Sato, Koshiro Shimada, Ikura Kushida, Keiji Tanaka, Kazuki Tomono, Ami Nakai, Rishi Nakata, and Satoko Miyahara.
