A special exhibition titled 「文豪ストレイドッグス ART＆DESIGN EXHIBITION」 has been announced to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Bungou Stray Dogs TV anime. The event will run in Tokyo before travelling to Osaka later in 2026.
About Bungou Stray Dogs
Bungou Stray Dogs is a supernatural action series whose characters bear the names of real literary figures — including Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa. The manga, written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, has been serialised in Young Ace since 2012, with the series surpassing 17.5 million copies in cumulative sales. The TV anime launched its first season in April 2016 and has since aired five seasons totalling 61 episodes.
Art and Design at the Heart of the Exhibition
The exhibition shines a spotlight on the art and design that have defined the series throughout its run, offering fans a curated look at the visual identity behind the franchise.
Entry Bonus and Exclusive Merchandise
Every visitor will receive one postcard chosen at random from ten designs featuring: Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Fyodor D., Nikolai G., Oda Sakunosuke, Chuya Nakahara, Ranpo Edogawa, Yukichi Fukuzawa, and Fukuchi Ouchi.
The venue will also sell exclusive merchandise unavailable elsewhere, including acrylic stands with sepia-toned character art accented by each character’s signature colour, badge collections, and stickers. Playful items such as ID-photo-style goods and record-style coasters will also be on offer, along with plush toys perfect for taking to fan activities.
Shoppers who spend ¥5,500 (tax included) or more on merchandise will receive a limited shopping bag (Shopper) featuring the exhibition’s key visual and popular characters — available only while supplies last.

- Period-valid ticket (3–31 Aug): ¥2,000 (tax included)
- Day-of tickets: ¥2,200 (tax included), sold at the venue entrance on 8F of Animate Ikebukuro (subject to remaining availability).
