A new clip of in-film footage has been released for 「新劇場版☆ケロロ軍曹 復活して速攻地球滅亡の危機であります！」 (Shin Gekijouban☆Keroro Gunsou: Fukkatsu shite Sokkou Chikyuu Metsubou no Kiki de Arimasu!), the theatrical anime film based on Yoshizaki Mine‘s manga. The clip, titled “The Grudge Between Kururu and Aruru,” sheds light on the two characters’ intertwined origins.
Kururu and Aruru’s Past Unveiled
The footage centers on Kururu, the communications strategist and inventive genius of the Keroro Platoon, and Aruru, a brilliant inventor who schemes to invade Earth. After Angol=Moa reveals that the mysterious Dr. Alder is actually the sibling duo of Aruru and Deruru, Kururu begins recounting his own past. It turns out Aruru was once Kururu’s classmate at the “Keron Science School,” and even back then Aruru’s weapon-building ability was so formidable that it gave even Kururu pause.
4th Wave of Theater Admission Bonuses
Starting July 17, participating theaters will distribute the fourth round of admission bonuses: “Puku-Puku Stickers (Keroro, Tamama, Kururu, Aruru, Deruru).” This set introduces Tamama and Kururu, who were absent from the third wave, alongside Keroro, Aruru, and Deruru depicted in brand-new poses.
