Story & Highlights
Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi is a historical action series following Hojo Tokiyuki, a young survivor of the fall of the Kamakura shogunate. After Ashikaga Takauji‘s betrayal destroys the Hojo clan, Tokiyuki is guided by the shrine priest Suwa Yorishige and bides his time in the province of Shinano.
In Season 2, Tokiyuki and his band — the Nige Wakato — move into full-scale action, fighting to reclaim Kamakura and reverse their fate. The stakes rise as each member of the group grows and the bonds between them deepen. The Season 2 opening theme, “Onigoto” (鬼事), is performed by Nakajima Kento, whose energetic track perfectly captures the spirit of Tokiyuki’s relentless fight.
