Two special music videos for My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア) are set to premiere on Jump Channel on July 15, 2026, as part of the series’ ongoing 10th Anniversary Project — Boku no Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary. The videos, produced under the JUMP MV banner, pair original manga artwork by creator Kōhei Horikoshi with songs from the anime’s FINAL SEASON.
About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a hero-action manga by Kōhei Horikoshi that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for over a decade, with the collected volumes surpassing 100 million copies in worldwide circulation. Set in a world where roughly 80% of the population possesses a superhuman ability known as a “Quirk” (個性), the series follows Izuku Midoriya — known as Deku — and his classmates at UA High School as they train to become professional heroes.
Two Songs, Two Stories
The MVs feature the opening and ending themes of TV Anime My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON:
- “THE REVO” by Pornograffitti (ポルノグラフィティ) — Opening Theme
- “I” by BUMP OF CHICKEN — Ending Theme
The MV for “THE REVO” traces the long, fateful rivalry between Izuku Midoriya and villain Tomura Shigaraki, from their first confrontation all the way to their final encounter. The MV for “I”, meanwhile, chronicles the bonds and growth of Deku and his fellow Class 1-A students at UA’s Hero Course throughout the entire series.
Both videos are described as fitting tributes now that both the manga and anime have reached their respective conclusions.
Premiere Schedule
The two MVs will premiere on Jump Channel on July 15, 2026. “THE REVO” goes live at 18:00 JST, followed by “I” at 18:05 JST.
