Story Overview
The series follows a man named Shibuya who makes his living investigating locations suspected of being bugged or fitted with hidden cameras. In the course of his work, he repeatedly encounters bizarre, inexplicable phenomena that defy rational explanation.
Contents of Volume 1
The title story, Fūin Sareshi Mono (“The Sealed Thing”), begins when Shibuya is hired by a woman who notices that objects in her home have been moved while she was away. Investigating whether an intruder has been entering the room, he follows a suspicious light captured on video and discovers an old Buddhist altar hidden beneath the floor. The find sets off a chain of disturbing events that begin to affect his young assistant.
