Official anime merchandise brand COSPA has unveiled a new lineup of Pop Team Epic goods, featuring two T-shirt designs and two acrylic stands inspired by protagonist Popuko’s most iconic lines. Pre-orders are now open via the COSPA Official Shop and affiliated retailers.
About Pop Team Epic
Pop Team Epic is a four-panel web manga by Okawa Bukubu, serialized on Takeshobo’s “Manga Life WIN” platform since November 2014. The series follows Popuko (short) and Pipimi (tall), a duo of 14-year-old girls whose absurdist, self-described “trash” comedy blends black humor with pop-culture parody. The anime adaptation aired its first season in January 2018 and its second in October 2022, becoming notorious for swapping voice casts between its A and B parts while using identical footage.

The new items center on two of Popuko’s most meme-worthy quotes: “Moshi moshi, Policemen?” and “Ah, so that’s how it is — I completely understand.” Both phrases have taken on a life of their own among fans online.
