ตุ๊กตาขนมปัง Nikkorino Bakery วางบนถาดในสไตล์ร้านขนมปังจริง

Capsule toy plush brand Nikkorino (にっこりーノ), produced by Qualia, is holding its first-ever POPUP SHOP event — “Nikkorino Bakery (にっこりーノベーカリー)” — at gashacoco Ikebukuro in Tokyo from July 17 to 26, 2026.

About Nikkorino

Nikkorino is Qualia’s capsule toy plush brand, instantly recognizable by its trademark wide smile. The name blends the Japanese word nikkori (にっこり, meaning “smiling”) with the Italian suffix -rino, evoking cuteness. Launched in 2023 with food-themed character series, the brand has since expanded into eclectic themes including “outer space,” “toilets,” and “garbage.”

Shop Like You’re in a Real Bakery

The star attraction of the event is its bakery concept: visitors can place plushies onto a tray and browse just as they would in an actual bread shop. The face of the event is Tako-san Wiener (タコさんウィンナー), one of Nikkorino’s most popular characters, cast here as the baker who has lovingly prepared all the bread for customers.

A total of 21 bread plushies are available, ranging from everyday favourites like croissants and melon bread to hard-crust varieties such as baguettes, plus special “Nikkorino bread” designs inspired by the brand’s own characters. Frappé plushies are also on hand as a drink accompaniment. All plushies are slightly larger than standard capsule toys, sized to evoke real loaves of bread.

Merchandise and Exclusive Novelty

Alongside the plushies, the shop stocks Nikkorino Bakery die-cut stickers in six designs, featuring fan-favourite characters such as Tako-san Wiener and Cream Soda depicted as bakery staff and shoppers — all newly illustrated for the event. A Nikkorino Bakery logo sticker is also available.

Customers who spend ¥3,000 or more (tax included) on Nikkorino merchandise at the venue will receive a limited Nikkorino plush can badge as a first-come, first-served gift. Made from the same fluffy plush fabric as the bread plushies, the badge is an exclusive novelty available only at this event.
