To mark the release of Medalist Volume 15 by Tsurumaikada, a special collaboration music video has been unveiled, pairing the beloved figure-skating manga with HANA’s “Cold Night” — the opening theme of the anime’s second season.
A Music Video Built Around Inori’s Dream
The MV centres on Inori, the girl who discovers figure skating and dedicates her entire being to it, alongside fellow young skaters all chasing their dreams on the ice. The visuals weave together imagery from the manga with the lyrics of “Cold Night” in a deeply moving way.
Event Merchandise for the Special Exhibition 2026
Alongside the MV reveal, merchandise details were announced for the “Anime ‘Medalist’ Special Exhibition 2026”, set to be held on August 30 at Bellesalle Takadanobaba in Tokyo.
The standout item is a advance movie ticket (mubichike) for the upcoming theatrical film, which comes with an exclusive bonus: a framed reproduction print featuring an illustration from Volume 9 of the manga, newly coloured by Tsurumaikada specifically for this occasion.

About Medalist
Medalist follows Yuitsu Inori, a girl with a passion for figure skating, and Akeuraji Tsukasa, a young man whose own skating career ended in disappointment. Together — as athlete and coach — they set their sights on becoming medallists.
The TV anime aired its first season in January 2025 and its second season in January of this year. A theatrical film adaptation has also been confirmed for 2027. Alongside today’s announcements, a new summer festival visual was also released, depicting Inori and Hikaru dressed in yukata at a night festival.
