The short manga series Tsurime Neko to Dame Oji (つり目ねことダメおじ) by Fuko Jasmine made its debut in the combined August 7 & 14, 2026 issue of Weekly Manga Goraku, published by Nihon Bungeisha and released on July 24, 2026.
The series is the seventh entry in a wave of new titles being launched to celebrate Weekly Manga Goraku‘s milestone 3,000th issue.
Story
The story follows a man who, after suffering a traffic accident, finds his soul separated from his body. Even in this out-of-body state, his greatest concern is the fate of his beloved cat, Gon. He warps back to his home to check on Gon, and the heartwarming tale unfolds from there.
