About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is an action manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set in a world where people possess supernatural abilities known as “Quirks,” the series has surpassed a cumulative 100 million copies in circulation. The TV anime began broadcasting in 2016 and concluded with its FINAL SEASON in December 2025, wrapping up after 8 seasons and 170 episodes.
2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the anime, celebrated through the ongoing project My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary. As part of this, a special episode — No.170＋1 “More” — aired on May 2nd, adapting the bonus manga “More” from the final volume (Vol. 42) of the manga.
