The official YouTube channel for the BanG Dream! franchise released a new trailer for the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora anime film project on Thursday, confirming that the film will open in Japan on October 16. The trailer was accompanied by a newly revealed promotional visual.
Sequel TV Series Set for January 2027
Alongside the film news, it was confirmed that the sequel television anime series to BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!!/Ave Mujica is set to premiere in January 2027. The series will air on NTV and 29 affiliated channels across Japan.
It’s MyGo!!!!! and Its Compilation Films
BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! originally premiered in Japan on Tokyo MX and streaming service ABEMA, launching with three episodes in June 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the series for international audiences as it aired.
The series received two compilation films: the first, Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko (A Sunny Spot in Spring, A Stray Cat), opened in September 2024, while the second, Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta (Sing, the Song That Can Define Us), followed in November 2024.
