Fuji TV has announced that Bokura ga Eranda Best Adventure (僕らが選んだベストアドベンチャー) will begin airing on October 4, 2026, every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. The special programming block will revisit standout episodes from four classic Digimon anime series, chosen through a global fan vote.
Top Episodes Selected by Fans Worldwide
The episodes featured in the program were determined by the “World Digimon Anime 4-Series Best Episode Vote” (世界が選ぶデジモンアニメ4作品ベストエピソード投票), a poll open to Digimon fans around the globe. Results were officially revealed on August 1. The top-ranked episode from each series is as follows:
- Digimon Adventure — Episode 54: “A New World”
- Digimon Adventure 02 — Episode 21: “Goodbye, Ken-chan…”
- Digimon Tamers — Episode 43: “Connected Hearts — Beelzemon’s Revival”
- Digimon Frontier — Episode 50: “Beyond Time! The Start of a New Legend”
Further broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
A Veteran Creative Team for the Opening Theme
The opening theme for the program will be performed by Ayumi Miyazaki, the voice behind the iconic Digimon Adventure insert song “brave heart,” and Takayoshi Tanimoto, who sang “One Vision” from Digimon Tamers.
The song is being written by Hiroshi Yamada, lyricist for “Break up! & Beat Hit!” from Digimon Adventure 02 and numerous other Digimon tracks, with music composed by Michihiko Ohta, who contributed to the opening and insert songs of all four series, including “FIRE!!” from Digimon Frontier.
Part of the Digimon 30th Anniversary Project
The Digimon franchise traces its origins to the Digital Monster LCD handheld toy released on June 26, 1997, and will mark its 30th anniversary in 2027. In anticipation of that milestone, the Digimon 30th Anniversary Project has been launched. The global best-episode vote was its inaugural initiative, with Bokura ga Eranda Best Adventure serving as the broadcast fruit of that effort.
