Initial D, the legendary street-racing manga by Shigeno Shuichi that has surpassed 56 million copies in circulation and celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025, is getting a fresh wave of official merchandise. Seven new items are now available for pre-order on the AMNIBUS online store, with orders opening on 28 July 2026.

Published by Kodansha, Initial D follows protagonist Fujiwara Takumi and his iconic Toyota AE86 through high-stakes battles on public mountain roads. The series is credited with sparking a generation’s passion for cars and remains hugely popular across Asia and Europe. Its universe has since expanded with MF Ghost and the currently serialised Subaru to Suisei, the latest entry in the “Fastest on Public Roads” series.

1. Trading Plastic License-Style Cards

PVC cards designed to resemble real driver’s licenses, featuring original manga panel artwork of six characters: Fujiwara Takumi, Takahashi Ryosuke, Takahashi Keisuke, Nakazato Takeshi, Shoji Shingo, and Akiyama Wataru. Each card measures approximately 86×54 mm (thickness approx. 0.76 mm).
