The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Super Psychic Policeman Chojo television anime — based on Shun Numa‘s manga Chōjun! Chōjō Senpai — has confirmed that the series will premiere on Kansai TV, Fuji TV, and affiliated broadcast channels across Japan on October 6 at 11:00 p.m. JST.
About the Manga
Shun Numa, best known as the creator of Samon the Summoner, launched Super Psychic Policeman Chojo in Japan in February 2024. Viz Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service began publishing chapters simultaneously with the Japanese release at that time.
The story is set in Chinjuku, a city that never sleeps, where a psychic senior police officer named Meguru Chojo wields powers far beyond ordinary human comprehension. Together with his judo-expert partner Nao Ippongi, the comedic duo takes on crime by any means necessary.
