The official website for the television anime adaptation of Nikumura Q‘s manga Giant Ojō-sama (Giant Young Lady) launched on Friday, unveiling the first key visual, core staff, and a January 2027 premiere.
Staff
The anime is being produced at Tatsunoko Production with Hiroshi Ikehata (WITCH WATCH) in the director’s chair. Katsuya Oshima serves as assistant director. Hajime Mitsuda (Food for the Soul) is on board as character designer and chief animation director, while Yū Satō (Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!) is handling series composition and scripts.
About the Manga
Nikumura Q has been serializing Giant Ojō-sama on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry platform since July 2020. Shogakukan will release the manga’s 12th compiled volume on August 10. The series earned a nomination for best web manga at the 8th Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2022, and the following year it ranked 5th in AnimeJapan’s 6th “Most Wanted Anime Adaptation” poll.
