A new officially licensed wristwatch inspired by Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (葬送のフリーレン) is now available for pre-order on the merchandise website AMNIBUS, with orders opening on 4 August 2026.
About Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday, written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. The story follows Frieren, a centuries-old elven mage who helped a hero’s party defeat the Demon King, as she embarks on a new journey and reflects on the passage of time through the people she meets along the way.
The TV anime’s first season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, while Season 2 began in January 2026, consistently topping streaming charts every week. Immediately after the Season 2 finale, it was announced that Season 3, subtitled “Ōgonkyō-hen” (Golden Land Arc), will premiere in October 2027.
Design Inspired by Frieren’s World
The watch is designed to evoke the atmosphere of the series, centering on the imagery of Aoimontsuki (蒼月草) — the iconic blue flowers closely associated with Frieren. The dial features a magic circle at its center, surrounded by motifs of the moon, sun, and other symbols evoking the flow of time.
A small sub-dial window at the top of the face displays the sun and a field of Aoimontsuki blossoms, capturing a cherished memory from Frieren’s journey. The caseback is engraved with Frieren’s staff, adding a subtle but meaningful touch for fans. The packaging uses the character’s image color as a base and features the same design as the caseback, allowing the watch to be displayed inside the box.
