Story
Lilynarose is the daughter of an earl: beautiful, but known for her fierce and unforgiving personality. One day, she suddenly recovers memories of a past life and realizes that the world she lives in bears a striking resemblance to a novel she once read.
In that novel, Lilynarose is a character consumed by obsessive attachment to her fiancé, Chrislord. Driven by jealousy, she goes so far as to assist a neighboring country’s surprise attack — an act that ultimately drives Chrislord to take his own life.
Now aware of the tragic fate that awaits him, Lilynarose resolves to save Chrislord at all costs, even as the threat from the neighboring country looms ever closer. But before she can act, Chrislord suddenly announces that he is breaking off their engagement.
Unable to let him die, yet equally unable to let go of her feelings for him, Lilynarose proposes a daring wager that could change everything.
