The manga Kikaijikake no Senmetsu Shoujo (機械仕掛けの殲滅少女), drawn by Nattougohan and based on an original story by Sanbon, launched its first volume as a digital/e-book release today, August 20, 2026, through publisher Core Mix.
Story
The series follows Adel, a young man with the “Engineer” skill who is unceremoniously kicked out of his adventurer party for being deemed useless in combat. His misfortune compounds when the childhood friend he harbored feelings for betrays him, leaving him at his lowest point.
It is then that Adel encounters Laila, a young noblewoman whose family was brutally murdered and who herself has had all four of her limbs taken from her. Driven by an unshakeable desire for revenge, Laila’s resolve stirs something within Adel, and he resolves to craft her prosthetic arms, prosthetic legs, and a prosthetic left eye.
There is a steep cost, however. Adel’s Engineer skill carries a dangerous drawback: the higher the performance of what he creates, the greater the physical toll it exacts on his own body. Branded a good-for-nothing, the young craftsman must now wager his very life to produce his greatest masterpiece.
