The yuri manga The Moon on the Rainy Night by Kuzushiro is getting an anime adaptation, with a 2027 release window. The announcement was made at REMOW’s panel during Anime NYC.

Story

One rainy night, Saki is rushing to a piano lesson when she collides with a beautiful, long-haired girl and drops her sheet music. The girl silently returns the music and walks away. The next morning, on her first day of high school, Saki discovers the same girl — Kanon — sitting at the desk right next to hers. Kanon is not completely deaf but is very hard of hearing, and while she needs to be close to people to read their lips, she keeps others at arm’s length with her cold demeanor. Through small acts of kindness, Saki gradually breaks through Kanon’s walls, even as she finds something new beginning to bloom within herself.
