The beloved capsule-toy plush brand Nikkorino (にっこりーノ) is hosting a limited-time pop-up shop, “Nikkorino Festival,” at Tokyo Station Ichiban Street B1F, Tokyo Character Street Ichiban Plaza from Friday, August 21 to Thursday, August 27, 2026. Hours are 10:00–20:30 daily, with the final day closing at 18:00.
About Nikkorino
Nikkorino is a capsule-toy plush brand defined by its signature beaming smile. The name blends the Japanese word nikkori (to smile) with the Italian suffix -rino, conveying cuteness. Launched in 2023 with food-themed character series, the brand has since expanded into wildly eclectic territory — including “space,” “toilet,” and “garbage” themes.
Games at the Festival
Visitors can enjoy two games on the event floor, each priced at 500 yen per play. The fan-favorite Sugoroku Lottery (board-game-style prize draw), familiar from previous Nikkorino Park events, returns alongside a brand-new attraction: Ball Rolling (ボール転がし), making its debut here. Prizes include BIG-size Nikkorino plushies and special glittery festival-edition capsule-toy-sized plushies.
New Products Debuting at the Event
Several items are making their first appearance at Nikkorino Festival, including:
- Ookina Nuigurumi — large plush toys
- Nikkorino House — a house-shaped collectible
- Pink-Roof House Pouch — a pouch styled like a house with a pink roof
- Onigiri Kinchaku — a round drawstring bag shaped like an onigiri, approximately 30 cm tall
The popular Chiisana Nuigurumi (small plush) series — known for its satisfyingly soft, mochi-like texture — is also getting eight new additions: Cream Soda (pink), Hotcake (new color), Pudding, Broccoli, Banana Peel, Tenmuso, and two more.
Nikkorino Snacks Make Their Debut
For the first time, Nikkorino is launching branded snack items:
- Maru-kan Cookie (round tin cookies) — comes with a sticker inside
- Gyoza Senbei (gyoza-shaped rice crackers) — comes with a postcard
Both are designed as perfect souvenirs from Tokyo Station for friends, family, or colleagues. Select venue products will also be available for purchase online.
