Card Captor Sakura is joining forces with Japanese health-device brand Tanita for a special collaboration featuring three products, all currently available for pre-order exclusively through the Tanita Online Shop.
About Card Captor Sakura
Card Captor Sakura is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by creative group CLAMP. The story follows Kinomoto Sakura, a young girl who accidentally releases a set of dangerous magical cards from a mysterious book in her father’s library and must become a “Card Captor” to retrieve them. The franchise spans three arcs: the Clow Card arc, the Sakura Card arc, and the Clear Card arc.

Body Composition Scale BC-204L
Tied to the Clear Card arc, this Bluetooth-enabled scale features newly recorded voice lines by Kinomoto Sakura’s voice actress Tange Sakura, guiding users through initial setup and measurement steps. The scale also delivers warm words of encouragement based on measurement results, and plays special messages for users who measure consistently for one week or two weeks or more.
Data syncs to the TANITA Record and Health Planet smartphone apps, displaying results as both numbers and graphs. The body of the scale is decorated with a magic-circle illustration, while the back features the series title and a sakura-pink gradient.
Voice Timer TD-436
Also a Clear Card arc collaboration, this timer plays newly recorded Sakura voice clips and music when the set time ends. Powering on triggers the phrase “Together with Sakura — Release!”, and the fan-favourite line “It’ll definitely be okay!” is included as a special sound. Users can choose from five alarm options, including the Clear Card opening theme “CLEAR” and a message saying “Time’s up — you did it!” The front of the device is fully printed with Sakura in her battle costume from the Clear Card arc opening.
Digital Cooking Scale KJ-212
This scale ties in with the Clow Card arc, featuring the Clow Card Book and the Sealing Wand — two iconic items from the series — printed on the weighing tray. It measures up to 2 kg with a fine-measurement mode starting from 0.1 g. The tray comes with a removable, washable silicone cover, and the package includes two recipe cards for bento meals inspired by the series.
Pre-Order Details
All three products are sold exclusively via the Tanita Online Shop. Pre-orders opened on 25 August 2026 and close on 18 September at 3:00 p.m. Shipping is scheduled to begin from late January 2027.
Special Bento at Tanita Shokudo
To celebrate the collaboration, Tanita Shokudo (the brand’s flagship restaurant in Toshima, Tokyo) will offer two limited-quantity bento meals inspired by the series, available by advance reservation through a dedicated website from 14 September at 2:00 p.m.
- Sakura’s Omurice — Creamy Soy Milk Tomato Sauce Bento: A Tanita Shokudo take on the omurice that Sakura’s older brother Kinomoto Touya is known for cooking at home.
- Syaoran’s Special Colourful Chinese Rice Bowl Bento: Inspired by Hong Kong-born character Li Syaoran, reimagined as a Tanita Shokudo-style Chinese dish.
Both bento are priced at ¥1,560 (tax included) and contain at least 120 g of vegetables — equivalent to one-third of the recommended daily vegetable intake. Each bento purchase also comes with one original illustration card featuring a Clow Card-inspired design.
