The production team behind the television anime adaptation of Umikaze Minamino‘s light novel series Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden (Kyōran Reijō Nia Liston: Byōjaku Reijō ni Tenseishita Kami-goroshi no Bujin no Kareinaru Musō Roku) has released a second promotional video, announced four new cast members, and confirmed the series will run for two consecutive cours.
The new promo video offers a preview of the previously announced opening theme song “Respawn!!”, performed by VTuber Tsunomaki Watame.

Story
A legendary hero dies undefeated, lamenting that no enemy ever managed to bring her down. Broadcast & Streaming
The anime premieres on October 6 on Tokyo MX at 9:25 p.m. JST, followed by BS NTV and MBS. It will also stream on ABEMA, d Anime Store, and U-NEXT. International viewers can watch via HIDIVE as it airs in Japan. An advance screening of the first three episodes is scheduled for September 22 at the esports TOKYO BAY studio.
Source Material
Minamino originally serialized the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from 2019 to 2021. Hobby Japan began publishing the light novel volumes with illustrations by Jishaku in September 2022; from the third volume onward in 2023, Katana Canata took over illustration duties — both artists are credited for original character designs in the anime. The 11th volume was published on June 1.
A manga adaptation drawn by Kabuto Kodai has been running on Square Enix’s Manga UP! since 2022, with the eighth compiled volume released on February 6. The manga is available in English via the Manga UP! Global service.
