Veteran manga artist Takaguchi Satosumi, best known for Hana no Asuka-gumi! and Grandma no Yuutsu, has launched a brand-new series titled Diamond Blues: Tsukushi Konan to 7-nin no Ojisan. Volume 1 went on sale on September 8, 2026, published by KADOKAWA.
Story
The series is a comedy centred on Tsukushi Konan, a young woman who has attracted worldwide attention without being the least bit aware of it, and the enigmatic group of elite men known as Team Timeless, who are tasked with keeping her safe.
Team Timeless is a seven-man crew led by Kaburagi George. Each member carries a shroud of mystery — some are former special-forces operatives with specialist knowledge and unique combat skills, while others have bounties of over 100 million yen on their heads. None of them belong to any official organisation.
This band of cool, capable older men assembles in a run-down apartment to carry out what seems like a straightforward protection job. But the incidents that keep swirling around Konan quickly snowball into a full-blown crisis that threatens to shake the entire world.
