Chitose Saku attends Fujishi High School, the top preparatory school in the prefecture. Excelling in academics, athletics, and social skills alike, he draws attention from everyone around him — and his circle of friends is equally popular. In the spring of his second year, placed in a new class, Saku is asked to persuade a withdrawn classmate to return to school. Set in Fukui Prefecture, an emotional coming-of-age story unfolds.
