The TV anime Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen (うちの弟どもがすみません), based on the manga by Ozaki Akira, has announced that “LOVE & LIKE” by the band ねぐせ。(Negusse) will serve as the opening theme for its second cour. The announcement was made via Aniplex’s streaming program Aniplex One Focus.
Alongside the announcement, a Special PV was released, packed with heartwarming moments between the heroine Ito and Minamoto. Negusse vocalist Ryotachi also shared a comment video, and a solo acoustic performance video previewing the chorus of “LOVE & LIKE” has been made available as well.

“This is the first time ねぐせ。has been given the opportunity to perform an anime opening theme, and I’m truly grateful to have been chosen. I wrote this song with the hope that our music could help bring the world of this story to life, even just a little.
In the first cour, we watched family bonds gradually form between Ito and her four new brothers. The second cour goes deeper, exploring a wider range of emotions and forms of love beyond just family affection. That’s why I named the song ‘LOVE & LIKE’ — to capture the many different shapes that love can take.
There are strong feelings you want to express, but the words just won’t come out right. The more you care about someone, the harder it becomes to say what you feel. That wavering, universal emotion is what I poured into ‘LOVE & LIKE.’ I hope our music helps everyone feel even more connected to this story.”
About the Anime
Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen follows Ito, a high school girl who suddenly finds herself with four younger stepbrothers after her mother remarries. The romantic comedy series is adapted from Ozaki Akira’s manga serialized in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret. It currently airs every Friday at 24:00 on TOKYO MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11, and every Wednesday at 26:45 on ABC TV.
