Fans of Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll have a new piece of memorabilia to look forward to. Kyoto Animation’s beloved film has partnered with iconic Japanese watchmaker Seiko to release the Violet Evergarden Gaiden × Seiko Memorial Watch — a pair of limited-edition timepieces that bring the film’s most cherished imagery to the wrist.
Two Models, Each Limited to 1,000 Pieces
The collaboration offers two distinct models — a Metal Band version and a Leather Band version — with production capped at 1,000 units each. Every watch features an individually engraved edition number on its case back.
Metal Band — Leaf Green Inspired by the Boarding School Grounds
The Metal Band model sports a Leaf Green dial evoking the lush greenery surrounding the girls’ boarding school in the film. Light radiates outward across the dial in a pattern reminiscent of sunlight filtering through the trees.
Leather Band — White as a Blooming Camellia
The Leather Band model features a white dial that calls to mind the white camellias in full bloom at the school. Delicate embossed texturing catches the light with a soft, gentle shimmer.
Dial Details Full of Storytelling
Both models share a set of meaningful design elements drawn directly from the film:
- A letter-shaped second hand, symbolising the bond between Isabella and Taylor
- A deep-green brooch — Violet’s treasured keepsake — at the 6 o’clock index
- A white camellia in full bloom at the 4 o’clock position
- Two birds soaring freely through the sky at the 7–8 o’clock position, representing the girls’ longing for freedom
Special Box and Letter-Shaped Guarantee Card
Each watch comes housed in a white presentation box inspired by Violet’s debutante costume, and includes a letter-shaped guarantee card — a nod to one of the film’s most iconic motifs.
Price and Release Date
Both models are priced at ¥59,800 (¥65,780 including tax). Pre-orders open on the PREMICO Online Shop from 16 September 2026, with shipping scheduled to begin in mid-March 2027.
