The official website for the Devils’ Crest television anime — based on Reki Kawahara‘s Demons’ Crest novel series — has announced the voice cast for four classmates of protagonist Yuma Ashihara.

- Yūsuke Kobayashi as Teruki Sugamo, a student council member and captain of the soccer club
- Maaya Uchida as Aria Misono, the top girl in the class social hierarchy
- Rie Murakawa as Kai Kisanuki, a student who appears timid but is keenly observant
- Sora Amamiya as Sumika Watamaki, who enjoys idol-like popularity among the boys

Story
The latest VRMMORPG, Actual Magic, has trapped an entire class of sixth graders in a deadly game with no way out. Eleven-year-old Yuuma and his friends face relentless dangers — a classmate transformed into a monster, and colossal beasts lurking around every corner. Their only hope lies with Valac, a demon who has possessed Yuuma’s twin sister. Guided by Valac, Yuuma and his party venture out to rescue their missing friend Nagi, only to stumble upon an unexpected encounter.

Premiere & Novel Background
Devils’ Crest will premiere worldwide on November 6 on Amazon Prime Video.
Kawahara launched the novel series in November 2022, with Kadokawa releasing the fourth volume in December 2025. Yen Press, which holds the English-language license, released the third volume in English in December 2025. A vertical-scrolling manga adaptation by Tomoe (art) and Koroku Takano (script) has been running on Wit Studio’s HykeComic service since November 2022, with Kadokawa releasing the first compiled volume in June 2024.
Kawahara is best known as the creator of Sword Art Online, and also penned Accel World and The Isolator: Realization of Absolute Solitude. Yen Press publishes all three series in English.
