Story
The protagonist, Lloyd, leads an A-rank adventurer party called “Dragon King’s Flame”. Feared by those around him, he wields a rare skill called “Steel” that lets him steal the skills of others.
One day, just as Lloyd is about to expel the dead-weight party member Kain, he suddenly realizes the truth: he is a reincarnated soul inhabiting the body of a villain character from an isekai anime. If events play out as they did in the original story, he is destined to suffer a humiliating “zama’a” — a dramatic comeuppance at the hands of the hero.
After much deliberation, Lloyd arrives at an unexpected solution: he expels himself from the party, hoping to break free from the fate that awaits him.
