A second season of the TV anime Yomi no Tsugai (黄泉のツガイ) has been officially confirmed. Alongside the announcement, a teaser video and a “Super Teaser Visual” have been released to the public.
About the Series
Yomi no Tsugai follows Yuru and Asa, twins born deep in a remote Japanese mountain village as “the pair who divide night and day.” The original manga is written by Arakawa Hiromu and serialized in Monthly Shōnen Gangan (Square Enix).
Season 1 Wraps, Season 2 Confirmed
The first season ran for two cours, with its final episode — episode 24 — airing on September 19. The second season was announced in the immediate aftermath of the finale.
The teaser video for Season 2 features familiar faces including Yuru, Asa, Sayū-sama, and Gabu-chan, alongside new characters who will play key roles in the story going forward. Also glimpsed is Misasagi, the leader of the Nishinomura faction and a major threat to the twin protagonists.
Broadcast Info & Cast
