The television anime adaptation of So What’s Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? (Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?), the manga by writer Nazuna Miki and artist Tsukasa Araki, has revealed 14 additional cast members alongside new character visuals.

Staff and Theme Songs
Ryūta Kawahara — known for episode directing work on The Summer Hikaru Died, Orange, 86, and Blend S — is directing the anime at studio BAKKKA. Yūichirō Momose (So I’m a Spider, So What?, Africa Salaryman) is handling series composition, Hiroyuki Saita (Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez, Revue Starlight) is the character designer, Hiroto Morishita (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, Wistoria: Wand and Sword) serves as sound director, and Takenoko Boy is composing the score at INCS Toenter.
Sou performs the opening theme “Hello,” while AHUB performs the ending theme “Chiisana Bokura” (Little Us).
Story
Office worker Akira Yagami’s selfless personality tends to leave him worse off than everyone else. After dying while pushing a child out of the path of an oncoming vehicle, he wakes up reincarnated in another world — as a goblin. Goblins normally survive only seven days, but Akira’s unique abilities allow him to shatter that limit and set him on the road to becoming the mightiest goblin who ever lived.
The manga has been running on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website since 2020; its 15th volume shipped on September 17. Yen Press publishes the English edition, with volume 10 released on May 26.
Broadcast & Streaming Details
The anime premieres on October 5 at 10:00 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX, followed by BS11 at 24:00 JST and Sun TV at 24:30. AT-X begins airing from October 7. In Japan, the series streams on ABEMA and Prime Video, with the first episode simulcast at air time and subsequent episodes available one week early. Crunchyroll will carry the simulcast internationally.
