The TV anime Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Hinomiya Chōso Torikae-den has officially announced that its second cour will begin airing in January 2027.
New Main Visual and Returning Characters
Alongside the announcement, the production revealed a newly drawn main visual by character designer Kikuchi Ai. The illustration features central characters Reirin, Keietsu, Riri, and Touyuki, as well as three new characters making their debut in the second cour: Kou Keikō, Kou Keishō, and Un Ran.
Visuals for the new characters who first appeared in episode 11 were also unveiled.

Kobayashi Chiaki (as Un Ran)
Un Ran is a mysterious figure regarded as the next leader of a village in the southern territory, while secretly working toward some hidden purpose. Yet deep in his eyes lies an extraordinary resolve. I hope viewers will look forward to discovering what feelings he carries as he becomes entangled with Shu Keietsu and Kou Reirin. I’ll give everything I have to bring his way of life to life.
Season 1 Soundtrack and Special Interview
The soundtrack featuring the score from the first cour is now available on major music streaming platforms as of September 21.
Comic Natalie has also published a special conversation between Nakamura Satsuki, the original novel’s author, and milet, the artist behind the opening theme “Sunny”. The two discussed the appeal of the work, their respective creative inspirations, and their impressions of each other’s craft.
