The production team behind the television anime of The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System (Tsuihō Sareta Tensei Jū Kishi wa Game Chishiki de Musō Suru) — adapted from Nekoko‘s light novel series with manga art by Brocco Lee — revealed the main trailer, key visual, new cast members, and theme songs for the anime’s second cour on Thursday.
Second-Cour Theme Songs
VTuber Tokoyami Towa performs the new opening theme “Rewrite the Answer,” while rock band PompadollS handles the new ending theme “Contemporary Dance.” The newly released trailer previews both tracks.

- Kōsuke Tanabe as Kelt, a B-rank hunter who joins the raid quest alongside Elymas
- Tsugumi Sakuragi as Maebel, a C-rank Priest
- Misaki Kuno as Hilde, a B-rank Magic Swordsman who claims to be Carlos’ foremost disciple

Story
At his Divine Blessing Ceremony, 15-year-old Elma — born into a lineage of Sword Saints — manifests the Heavy Knight class, widely regarded as a defective and worthless vocation. Stripped of his birthright as heir to the Edvan household, he is cast out and exiled. The Heavy Knight class carries unbalanced stats, seemingly useless skills, and a reputation for attracting only the cowardly and the lazy.
What no one else knows, however, is that Elma recognizes this world as the very game he played in his previous life — and that the Heavy Knight is, in fact, the game’s most powerful class. Armed with that knowledge, he sets out to clear this reincarnated world as efficiently as possible.

The anime premiered on July 2 on TBS and MBS within the Super Animeism TURBO programming block at 24:26 JST, running for two consecutive cours. Crunchyroll simulcasts the series and also offers an English dub.

Source Material
Nekoko began serializing the original story on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2021. Kodansha published the first print volume — with illustrations by Jaian — in June 2022; the fifth volume shipped on July 2. Brocco Lee’s manga adaptation launched on Kodansha’s Yanmaga website in February 2022, before moving to Young Magazine in September 2024. The manga’s 19th compiled volume is scheduled for release on October 6.
