TV anime Chōjun! Chōjō Senpai has confirmed it will premiere on October 6, 2026, airing on Kantele and the Fuji TV national network in the “Kayō Anival!!” Tuesday-night slot (11:00–11:30 p.m. JST, with the first episode starting at 11:15 p.m.). Alongside the broadcast date announcement, the production revealed a second main PV and a batch of new scene stills.
About the Series
Chōjun! Chōjō Senpai is a superpower police comedy adapted from the manga by Numa Shun, which ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025. The story follows an unlikely buddy-cop duo: Chōjō Jun, a veteran detective who wields every psychic ability imaginable — mind-reading, clairvoyance, telepathy and more — and Ippongi Nao, a rookie officer whose judo black-belt physique has earned him the nickname “Gorilla.” Together they keep the peace in Chinjuku Kabukichō, one of Japan’s most vibrant entertainment districts.

Theme Songs
The opening theme is “That’s! Chōjō” performed by five-member dance-vocal group M!LK. The track is described as a powerful, high-energy number that amplifies the unpredictable fun of the series’ colorful cast. The ending theme, “Mata Ashita” by up-and-coming band Shifuku Poncho (average age 20), takes a warmer approach, capturing the heartfelt atmosphere of the characters and the town they inhabit.
Second Main PV
The newly released PV opens with a languid, film-grain aesthetic before “That’s! Chōjō” kicks in and completely transforms the mood. What follows is a fast-paced, high-tempo showcase of the series’ psychic-powered comedy action — exactly the kind of energy fans of the manga will be hoping to see animated.
