TV anime Kore Egaite Shine (これ描いて死ね) has been officially greenlit for a second season. The announcement dropped on September 25 — the very same day the first season broadcast its finale.
About the Series
Kore Egaite Shine is based on the manga by Toyoda Minoru, serialized in Gessan magazine (Shogakukan). The story follows Ankai Ai, a first-year high school student living on Izu Oshima island who loves manga and grows through both the struggles and joys of creating it — a “manga × high school girls’ youth story.” The original manga has earned two major accolades: the Manga Taisho 2023 grand prize and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award.
Season 1 began airing in July and concluded on September 25. Alongside the season finale, a special visual was released depicting Ankai and Pokota celebrating the Season 2 announcement.
