The production team behind Tokyo Revengers: Sanzen Sensou-hen has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 51, “Break up,” set to air on Friday, October 2, 2026 on MBS, TBS, and CBC in the “Animism” late-night block, as well as AT-X.
About Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is based on Ken Wakui‘s time-leap suspense manga Tokyo卍Revengers, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2017 to 2022 and winner of the 44th Kodansha Manga Award in the shonen category. The story follows Hanagaki Takemichi, a washed-up former delinquent who leaps back 12 years in time after learning of his ex-girlfriend’s death, determined to save her and reclaim his life.
The TV anime launched with Season 1 (April–September 2021), covering the “8·3 Kousou-hen” and “Chi no Halloween-hen” arcs, followed by Season 2 “Seiya Kessen-hen” (January–April 2023) and Season 3 “Tenjiku-hen” (October–December 2023). The franchise has also expanded into live-action film and stage adaptations.
Sanzen Sensou-hen — Season 4
The fourth season, Sanzen Sensou-hen, picks up in the aftermath of the brutal clash between Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku. As each side grieves and moves forward, Takemichi finds himself in awe of the late Kisaki Tetta. Meanwhile, the future world has entered a “Three-Gang Era” in which three factions vie for supremacy — setting the stage for Takemichi’s final revenge.
Episode 51 Synopsis: “Break up”
The war against Tenjiku ends in tragedy: Izana is shot down by Kisaki’s bullet, and Kisaki himself is struck and killed by a truck. In the aftermath, Takemichi sits down with Mikey (Sano Manjiro) and reveals everything — that he is a time-leaper, and the full account of every event he has lived through across timelines.
After hearing Takemichi out, Mikey makes his decision: he declares the dissolution of the Tokyo Manji Gang. The legendary organization that once stood at the top of Japan thus comes to an end.
