Manga creator Chanta has launched a brand-new series titled Noro-Noro Puku-Puku on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform. English-language readers can follow the series simultaneously through Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.
Synopsis
The story centers on Suzu, an exceptionally cursed shrine maiden who one day incurs divine punishment from the gods. Her sentence: exorcise 108 curses — with the help of Puku, a black cat that has taken up residence on top of her head. MANGA Plus describes the series as a “jaw-dropping absurdist exorcist comedy” from the creator of Sachi’s Records ~Sachi’s Book of Revelation~.
Chanta’s Previous Work
Chanta previously serialized Sachi’s Records: Sachi’s Book of Revelation (Sachi-roku: Sachi no Mokushiroku) on Shonen Jump+ beginning in July 2023. The series concluded in April 2025, with Shueisha releasing the fifth and final compiled volume in July 2025. That series was also available in English via MANGA Plus.
