Synopsis
According to Shochiku, the story follows Rein, an enchanter who specializes in strengthening equipment with magic. He is abruptly expelled from his guild for the absurd reason that every piece of gear has already been fully enhanced. Furious, Rein reclaims all the mana he had poured into the guild’s equipment — and when he channels it into a random copper sword, it transforms into a cheat-level weapon boasting 10,000 enhancement points.
With no combat experience whatsoever but wielding magic capable of turning any item into overpowered gear, Rein sets out to live a free and easy life as an adventurer. Set in a world where magic and science intertwine, the series blends wild humor with layered character drama, and had already generated significant fan buzz well before the anime adaptation was announced.
