Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026) — Ikebukuro’s massive annual event celebrating anime, manga, voice actors, merchandise, otome games, and cosplay — will be held on November 7–8, 2026 at Sunshine City, Ikebukuro and surrounding venues, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last entry at 4:30 p.m.).
Among the highlights, the YTE booth will offer an early exclusive sale of brand-new merchandise based on a freshly illustrated visual series called “Blue Butterfly Forest” from the TV anime Detective Conan (名探偵コナン).
About Detective Conan
Detective Conan is based on the manga of the same name by Gosho Aoyama, serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday since 1994. The TV anime adaptation has been airing since 1996 and celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. With over 1,200 episodes broadcast and cumulative worldwide manga sales surpassing 270 million copies, it remains one of the most beloved franchises in Japan, with theatrical films and live events expanding its reach beyond television.
The “Blue Butterfly Forest” Visual Series
The new artwork depicts Conan, Haibara, Amuro, and Kaitō Kid playfully interacting with gracefully fluttering butterflies, rendered in a striking blue color palette that gives the series its name.
