Good Smile Company has unveiled a new scale figure of Iroha Isshiki from Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. — better known as OreGairu — capturing the fan-favourite character in a wintry scene. Pre-orders are now open at the Amiami Online Shop.
About OreGairu
OreGairu is based on the light novel series by Wataru Watari, published under Gagaga Bunko. The story follows high-schooler Hachiman Hikigaya, who is forced into the school’s Service Club and ends up spending his days with the sharp-tongued Yukino Yukinoshita and the cheerful Yui Yuigahama in a bittersweet romantic comedy. The anime adaptation ran for three TV seasons: Season 1 in April 2013, Season 2 (OreGairu Zoku) in April 2015, and Season 3 (OreGairu Kan) in July 2020. The series is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a dedicated project.
A Different Side of Iroha
The figure belongs to Good Smile Company’s Good Smile Collection (G.S.Collection) scale-figure line and renders Iroha at 1/6 scale, standing approximately 240 mm tall. Iroha is a first-year student at Sobu High School and manager of the soccer club, renowned for her devilish charm and ability to adapt her demeanour to whoever she’s talking to.
Rather than showcasing her usual playful, coquettish side, this figure captures a quieter, more earnest expression — the kind of unguarded look that makes fans’ hearts skip a beat. The sculpt faithfully translates the delicate atmosphere of illustrator Ponkan(8)‘s original artwork into three dimensions, with careful attention paid to her softly wrapped scarf, the texture of her school uniform, and the gift she holds gently in her hands — evoking a single frozen moment in winter.
