The theatrical anime film Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: The Lonely Dragon (「小林さんちのメイドラゴン さみしがりやの竜」) is set to make its television debut on Sunday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m., airing on BS12 Twellv as part of the channel’s “Sunday Anime Theatre” programming block.

The film is a theatrical production by Kyoto Animation — the same studio behind the hit TV anime series Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid — and is based on the original manga by Cool Kyoushinja.

Unlike the TV series, this film places Kanna — one of the dragons drawn to Kobayashi — at the center of the story. The narrative weaves together Kanna, Kobayashi, Tohru, and Kanna’s father Kimun Kamui in a heartfelt tale about family and belonging.
