นักพากย์ Ave Mujica ทั้งสี่คนบนเวทีงานทักทายภาพยนตร์ BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora ที่ชินจูกุ บัลต์ 9

A stage greeting celebrating the release of BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora was held on October 17 at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. Attending were Sasaki Riko (Doloris/Misumi Hatsuhana), Okada Yui (Timoris/Yawata Misuzu), Yonezawa Akane (Amoris/Yutenji Nyamu), and Takao Kanon (Oblivionis/Toyokawa Shoko). Watase Yuzuki, who plays Mortis/Wakaba Mutsumi, was unable to attend due to illness.

The event was held in two parts, with the cast expressing their joy at finally delivering the film to audiences. “I’m so happy everyone can see it!” and “We’ve finally been able to get it to you!” were among their opening remarks. A live viewing broadcast simultaneously to cinemas across Japan allowed the cast to greet fans nationwide as well.

Reactions to the Film’s Announcement

The first topic of discussion was how each cast member felt when they learned a film was in production. Sasaki Riko reflected, “In the TV anime there was so much that happened — the band disbanded and then reformed… After the finale I really wondered how everyone would go on living. So being able to walk through their lives again as five people is something I’m truly grateful for.”

Takao added, “Some of the problems looked like they’d been resolved, but there were still things that hadn’t been.” Okada spoke about storylines left unexplored in the TV series: “Like, why did Misuzu join Ave Mujica in the first place? Watching the film I thought, ‘Oh, so this is where we find out!’ And she was recruited that persistently!?”

Takao smiled and said, “Making a theatrical film with Ave Mujica was one of my dreams, and being with everyone means so many dreams keep coming true.” Yonezawa echoed the sentiment: “A film was one of my dreams too, so I’m glad it happened. I wanted to know more and more about the Ave Mujica members, and I was also happy that the animation was created entirely from scratch for the theatrical version.”

Portraying Character Growth in the Film

Because the stage greeting took place after a screening, the cast was free to discuss the film’s content. Acting as MC, Takao asked each of her co-stars how they reflected their characters’ growth in their performances.

Sasaki said, “I made a conscious effort to show Hatsuhana’s change. She’s become more able to express her feelings directly than before. There’s a scene at home with Shoko — in the past she would have asked timidly while reading the room, but now she can ask straight out, ‘You’re hiding something, aren’t you?’ I carry Hatsuhana’s whole life in my performance and treasure every small movement of her heart. In the live performance parts I switch fully into Doloris — I didn’t compromise on either side.”

Okada said of Misuzu, “She seemed to be having fun the whole time — even doing fan service. When I saw it in the script I thought, ‘She does that!?’ (laughs). Her emotions come through much more clearly than in the TV anime.” Takao noted that Shoko had grown: “In situations that would have flustered her before, she stays calm and speaks to the members with resolve. I was conscious of playing that slightly more mature side of her.”

Messages to Fans and a Shout-Out to Watase Yuzuki

At the close of the event, each cast member addressed the audience. Takao said, “I think this is a film that deserves to be enjoyed on a big screen. Please come back to the cinema as many times as you can, and listen to the music too.” Yonezawa added, “The structure — with both live scenes and everyday scenes — was just perfect. Please enjoy it again and again!”

Okada sent a message to the absent Watase Yuzuki: “Yuzuki must have wanted to talk too — are you watching out there!” She then told fans, “The production staff and all of us put our spirit and soul into this. Please immerse yourselves fully in the world of Ave Mujica!”

Sasaki, who revealed she had gone to see the film on opening day and cried, closed the event: “So many emotions washed over me — I can’t put it into words. It’s a story that can’t be described prettily. When I first read the script I was speechless. I faced each character’s life seriously and with conviction. I hope everyone can enjoy this story of the time before dawn, and the story that lies beyond it. Thank you so much for today.”
