The manga Doryoku Muso no Tensei Exorcist (努力無双の転生エクソシスト) launches its first volume today, October 23, published by KADOKAWA. The series is drawn by Hotate Haruma and is a comicalization of a web novel by the author known as Fantastic Shōsetsuka.
Story
The protagonist is Japan’s greatest bodybuilder — until a random street attack cuts his life short at just 27 years old. He is reincarnated in another world as an orphan and given the name Ikaku (威嚇, meaning “intimidation”), where he begins his second life from scratch.
This new world is one where demons and exorcists coexist. Ikaku throws himself into training once again, determined to become an exorcist. By the age of six, he earns a place in the official training program.
Written off by those around him as talentless and ordinary, Ikaku’s relentless effort — backed by the extraordinary physical foundation he built in his previous life — will eventually see him rise to become the most feared exorcist in the world.
