Official character-print sweets brand PRIROLL has unveiled its “Xmas Puri-Cake 2026” lineup — a collection of Christmas cakes decorated with characters from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). Pre-orders are now open on each product’s dedicated page.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label. The series ran for 23 volumes and has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps (Kisatsutai) in a bid to turn his demon-transformed sister Nezuko back into a human.
The anime adaptation is produced by ufotable and first aired in April 2019. The theatrical trilogy Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jou-hen, depicting the final battle set in the Infinity Castle, launched its Part 1 “Akaza Raikou” in July 2025. Over 266 days through April 9, it drew 27,455,968 admissions and earned ¥40,200,019,000 at the box office — making it the second-highest-grossing film in Japanese domestic history, behind only Mugen Ressha-hen. The full TV series is also currently being rebroadcast from April.

Each “Puri-Cake” features a fluffy sponge base layered with light whipped cream and fresh fruit — perfect for a special occasion. Character artwork is printed using edible ink, so it’s completely safe to eat. For strawberry-filled versions, customers can choose between whipped cream or chocolate cream.
