GUNDAM UNIVERSE has unveiled the GUNDAM UNIVERSE XARX-0 GUNDAM ZERO, a three-dimensional figure of the lead mobile suit from the upcoming TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO. Pre-orders opened on November 2, 2026, with a retail price of ¥5,500 (tax included) and a planned release in April 2027.
The RG Project: One Universe, Two Stories
Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is a TV anime that shares its setting with the all-new action game GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, which was announced at Summer Game Fest in June 2026. Both titles fall under a cross-media initiative called the “RG Project.”
The RG Project aims to build a single shared history through anime and game, each exploring that world from a different perspective and distance. Central to the project is a fresh examination of the question: “Why does Gundam need to exist?” — crafted by director Kamiyama and SF-setting supervisor Toh EnJoe.
The anime is set approximately 100 years before the events of the game, telling the origin story of this new world. Protagonist Azumi Ray is voiced by Takehiro Otsuka (大塚剛央). The game, meanwhile, places players inside a world shaped by the choices made in the anime, allowing them to participate in and influence that history firsthand.
Figure Details: GUNDAM UNIVERSE XARX-0 GUNDAM ZERO
The figure employs a UNIVERSAL REACTION FRAME construction, designed to deliver an optimal range of motion for recreating in-series poses while remaining easy and enjoyable to handle. The distinctive design of Gundam ZERO is faithfully reproduced throughout.
