The TV anime Tsuihou Sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life wo Ouka Suru. — known to fans by its shorthand “Chi-Fuyo” — has unveiled a brand-new Main PV subtitled “Mother of Assassins (CV: Shibata Rie) Intrusion ver.”
A PV Completely Taken Over
The “Mother of Assassins” is a formidable character who stands in the way of protagonist Rain and his companions. She self-styles herself as an “X-Class Assassin Mature Warrior” and raises numerous children with the goal of producing elite assassins. While she plays the role of a doting mother figure to her assassin brood, her words and actions are boisterous and utterly unpredictable — she has a knack for barging into serious scenes and throwing the story into delightful chaos.
In this special PV, Shibata Rie takes over the narration entirely, throwing in her own commentary and quips throughout the footage. The result is a PV that feels less like a promotional video and more like it has been fully “hijacked” by the Mother of Assassins herself.
