A special talk and screening event titled “Anime Miseru! — From 【自主制作アニメ】 to #indie_anime” is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Cinema City in Tokyo, bringing together four prominent creators from the world of independent anime.

- Keisuke Kojima — character designer and chief animation director of Hyaku Emu.
- Komugiko 2000 — creator of the ending animation sequence for Dandadan Season 2
- Hanabushi — director of the music video for ZUTOMAYO’s “Obenkyou Shite Oite yo”
Event Format
Each guest will bring an anime work of their own choosing under the theme of “Miseru” (魅せる — to show, to captivate), which will be screened for the audience. The screenings will be interspersed with discussion about the appeal and culture of independent anime. The specific titles to be shown are being kept secret as a surprise for attendees on the day.
The event will be hosted by anime critic and writer Koji Takase.
