The theatrical anime Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai has announced an official collaboration with Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture — one of the real-world locations featured throughout the series. As part of the tie-up, the character Sakurajima Mai has been appointed PR Ambassador for the Shonan Fujisawa Film Commission. A wide-ranging event series branded “Aobuta Summer Fes” will roll out across the Fujisawa area from August.
Digital Stamp Rally
From 11 August to 30 September, fans can participate in the Aobuta × Fujisawa City Digital Stamp Rally. Those who collect every stamp will receive an exclusive Sakurajima Mai 2026 PR Ambassador original name card as a completion prize. Collaboration posters and 13 varieties of banner flags — covering both the high-school and university arcs — will also be displayed at the Fujisawa City Tourism Center, the Katase Enoshima Tourist Information Office, and other locations around the city.
Aobuta no Kotoba Ten Exhibition
From 11 to 23 August, Exhibition Room 1 of Fujisawa City Gallery will host 「青ブタの言葉展」 (Aobuta no Kotoba Ten), an exhibition gathering memorable lines of dialogue from the Seishun Buta Yarou series. Visitors can revisit the characters’ heartfelt feelings, inner conflicts, and distinctly adolescent emotions through the words that defined the story.
ODAKYU SHONAN GATE and Fujisawa Station Events
At ODAKYU SHONAN GATE near Fujisawa Station’s south exit, collaboration content runs from 11 August to 6 September. The shopping complex will broadcast original in-store announcements voiced by Mai, and will be decorated with character standees from Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai, series key visual posters, and collaboration posters. Customers who spend ¥1,500 or more (tax included) per receipt at participating restaurants or cafés and show their stamp rally participation screen will receive a collaboration sticker.
The underground plaza at Fujisawa Station’s north exit will additionally display memorial visuals and screen a series compilation.
Pop-Up Shop at Bic Camera Fujisawa
From 8 August to 6 September, the 6th floor of Bic Camera Fujisawa will host the 「アニメ『青春ブタ野郎はディアフレンドの夢を見ない』公開記念POP UP SHOP」. The shop will feature a special exhibition of production materials from the series. Customers spending ¥7,000 or more (tax included) per receipt will receive a mini poster as a purchase bonus.
